  • PRIVACY POLICY

    1. General

    This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you of reve’s policies and practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of any information about you that directly or indirectly may be referable to you, such as your name, display name, email address, reve user ID number and also transactional information and other information (”Personal Data”) that you submit or disclose to reve when accessing the reve Platform and/or using the reve Services (irrespective of whether it is public or nonpublic information).

    2. Definitions

    In this Privacy Policy the terms (identified with initial capitalization) used herein shall have the meanings specified in the Terms of Service page. Additional definitions are also provided in this Privacy Policy.

    In this Privacy Policy, “reve” means Reve AB, a Swedish company with corporate identification number 5569333114, whose registered office is at Bastugatan 55, 11825 in Stockholm, Sweden.

    3. User Consent

    By registering a reve Account and accessing the reve Platform from your Device, you consent to the collection and use of your Personal Data as we have outlined in this Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. You unconditionally consent to reve’s collection and processing of your Personal Data as specified in this Privacy Policy (and as amended from time to time) by allowing the reve Platform to access your Facebook or other Social Network account.

    4. Controller of Personal Data

    For purposes of the European Union Data Protection Directive, reve is the data controller of the Personal Data expressly requested by reve and such Personal Data may be transferred to, processed and stored by reve’s affiliates and group companies as well as third parties providing services to reve. Some of these third parties may be located in a country outside the European Union (for instance, in the United States) where laws regarding processing of Personal Data may be less stringent than the laws in your country. reve is committed to protecting your Personal Data at all times and the Personal Data will not be used or disclosed for purposes for which you have not given consent to pursuant to this Privacy Policy or which is not permitted under applicable laws.

    5. Age Restrictions

    Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use reve Services, and we do not intentionally collect or maintain Personal Data from persons who are under the age of 13. By using reve Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are between 13 and 17 years of age and have a parent’s or guardian’s permission to use reve Services. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected Personal Data from a person under the age of 13 or a person between 13 and 17 years of age who does not have a parent’s or a guardian’s consent to use reve Services, we will take steps to remove that person’s Personal Data permanently from our databases.

    6. Collection of Personal Data

    Personal Data That You Provide

    It is our ambition to make your use of the reve Platform and reve Services a good experience. reve collects information that you voluntarily enter, including Personal Data, within the reve Platform. reve collects Personal Data about you and your friends who use reve Services, from you and from the Social Network connected to the reve Platform (including your profile photo), in order to provide you with a more personalized experience. We may collect information from your Social Network profile that you have permitted to be displayed through the reve Platform and we may also collect information that you submit when using reve Services. For example, when you share a product with your friends, we collect and associate certain of your non-personally identifiable demographic information (like age, gender and location) with the specific merchant (“Merchant”) for the product in order to create a better and more sophisticated experience. We may also request optional information from you to support and enhance your use of reve Services.

    The information relating to you that is being processed by reve is:

    • Identification data (e.g. name, email address);
    • Images uploaded by you for identification;
    • Device sign-on data (including device ID);
    • Profile information (e.g. age, gender, nationality, your preferred language, currency, and country site);
    • Location data;
    • Electronic identification data (e.g. IP address, cookies);
    • Data provided by you hereunder or generated in connection and interaction with the Services (ie content that you submit during your use of reve Services, such as photos, reviews, ratings and other information you choose to submit).

    We and our service providers use this information to operate and improve our Platform and Services.

    reve Services may utilize social networking or “share functionality” or may contain links to third party sites that are not owned or controlled by reve. reve has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, any share functionality or the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party site. You are subject to the policies of those third parties where applicable. By using reve Platform and Services, you expressly relieve reve from any and all liability arising from your use of any share functionality or third-party site accessed from reve Platform and Services. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to anyone.

    When you sign up for or win any contests, sweepstakes or other activities that we make available on the reve Platform, we will also collect the information designated along with such activity, which may include your contact information such as your address and phone number in order to provide you with reve Services.

    Personal Data from Other Sources

    We may receive Personal Data about you from other sources such as the Social Network connected to the reve Platform, as well as Merchants and other third parties that help us improve your experience of reve Services and generally make reve Services better. reve may associate this information with the other Personal Data that reve has collected about you.

    Email and Email Addresses

    If you send an email to us or fill out our “Feedback” form through the reve Platform, we will collect your email address and the full content of your email, including attached files and other information you provide in order to document and to further develop reve Services based on user feedback. If you provide feedback to us, we may use and disclose such feedback to our Merchants to improve or modify reve Services.

    reve may use and display your full name and email address when you send an email notification to a friend through the reve Platform or the Social Network connected to reve Services (such as in an invitation or when sharing your content). Additionally, we may use your email address to contact you on behalf of your friends (such as when someone sends you a personal message) or notifications from a Social Network or other website with which you have registered to receive such notifications.

    Information Collected via Technology

    As you use reve Services, certain information may also be passively collected and stored on our or our service providers’ server logs, including your location, IP address, browser type and operating system. We may also use cookies (as defined below) and navigational data like Uniform Resource Locators (”URLs”) to gather information regarding the date and time of your visit and the solutions and information for which you searched and viewed, or on which of the products displayed on the reve Platform you clicked on. This type of information is collected to make reve Services more useful to you and to tailor the experience with reve Services to meet your special interests and needs.

    For example, we, or our service providers, may track your IP Address when you access the reve Platform to assist with relevant product information. An “Internet protocol address” or “IP Address” is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device when you use the Internet. In some cases your IP Address stays the same from browser session to browser session, but if you use a consumer Internet access provider, your IP Address probably varies from session to session.

    The reve Platform uses third party analytics tools. Some of these analytics tools use cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, or other technologies, to help analyze how users use the reve Platform. The information collected in the cookie or other technology about your use of the reve Platform (including your IP address) may be transmitted to and stored by the applicable analytics provider on servers in the United States or elsewhere. The analytics provider may use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the reve Platform, compiling reports on reve Platform activity for us and providing other services relating to reve Platform activity and Internet usage. The analytics provider may also transfer this information to other third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on the analytic provider’s behalf. The analytic provider’s policy is to not associate your IP address with any other data held by the analytic provider.

    Cookies

    “Cookies” are small pieces of information that reve sends to and stores on the Device that you use when accessing the reve Platform.

    reve uses cookies to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience with the reve Platform and to improve reve Services. Cookies help us evaluate what types of information that might be of interest to you and other users, to improve our and our Merchants’ offering and to protect you and reve from unlawful activities. We also use cookies to know when you are interacting with Merchants or other third parties.

    In order to use reve Services, your Device must accept cookies. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). Persistent cookies can be removed or blocked by following your Internet browser´s help file directions. But some aspects of the reve Platform may not work properly and you may not be able to use reve Services if our cookies are removed or blocked.

    Location

    If the settings on your Device allow us to receive location information, reve will collect that information in order to provide you with a more geographically targeted experience of reve Services and provide you with the relevant product information, Merchant information, etc.

    7. Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

    Personal Data that you submit to us is used by reve to provide you with access to the reve Platform and reve Services; to administer your reve Account; to improve reve Services; to better tailor the features, performance and support of the reve Platform; and to offer you additional information, opportunities, promotions and functionality from us (including in cases when we contact you in connection with specific Merchant opportunities and promotions).

    reve may provide your Personal Data to third-party service providers who work on behalf of or with us to provide some of the services and features of the reve Platform and to help us communicate with you. Examples of such services include sending email, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing payments (including credit card payments) and providing customer service. Such third-party service providers may only process Personal Data to provide the relevant services to reve and in accordance with reve’s instructions.

    The Personal Data that you provide will allow reve to inform you of reve Services, such as relevant product information as well as other services and products that may be of interest to you. reve may use your Personal Data for processing, managing and providing you with retail offers, advertisements and other information related to your profile and interests. By using reve Services you agree that reve may contact you to conduct targeted advertising based on the information provided by you and collected by reve. This type of targeting is performed to make reve Services and solutions more useful to you and to tailor the experience with the reve Platform to meet your special interests and needs. Sometimes this type of targeting and other offers, advertisements and promotions is performed by reve on behalf of Merchants. reve does not disclose your Personal Data to Merchants, but may make certain of your non-personally identifiable demographic information (like age, gender and location) available in connection with our agreements with Merchants. None of the information provided to Merchants would allow them to identify you or your Personal Data.

    In the event reve is subject to a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company or a sale of all or a portion of reve’s assets, your Personal Data may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of reve or its assets may continue to process your Personal Data as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

    In addition to the above, reve may disclose your Personal Data if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on reve or pursuant to any other legal claims or (b) to protect and defend reve’s rights, property or interests or (c) to protect your rights or any third-party rights or (d) fight against fraud or (e) to enforce our policies (including this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service).

    Please note, that we may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information (this is information that is recorded about a reve user so that it no longer reflects or references an individually identifiable user) publicly and with our partners - like Merchants, advertisers or connected sites. For instance, reve will generally aggregate this information and use it in statistical analysis to help us analyze patterns in the use of reve Services and to help Merchants indirectly (via reve) to improve, for instance and not limited to store layouts, determine timing for promotions and sales, measure the effect of advertising, and set staffing levels and store hours.

    reve saves the information provided by you hereunder or generated in connection and interaction with the Services, makes it secure by scrambling or encrypting it, then transmits the data to a database. The data in the database is used to produce reports for our partners. They use these reports to ultimately improve your shopping experience.

    Our clients use reve to answer questions like: “How many new shoppers did I have today? Last week? Do more people stop and enter the store with one window display vs. another? Did my marketing campaign work? How are my customers engaging with my products?” Answering these questions does not require personal information of any kind. When reve publishes aggregate analysis of retail trends to third parties, these never include personal-level data or the identity of reve users included in the analysis.

    8. Ability to View Your Information

    When you register a reve Account, your Social Network friends might be notified of your use of reve Services. Your Social Network friends with reve accounts will then be able to share with you product information from various Merchants.

    It is up to you to make sure that you are comfortable with the information that you choose to provide to reve and the information you choose to publish either directly on the reve Platform or through your Social Network, which is connected to the reve Platform.

    You acknowledge that when you use reve Services, certain information that you post or provide through the reve Platform (such as your name, profile, comments, ratings and reviews,) may be shared with other users and posted on publicly available portions of the reve Platform, including, without limitation, social media applications and other public fora in which you choose to participate. Please keep in mind that if you choose to disclose Personal Data when posting comments or other information or content through the reve Platform, this information may become publicly available and may be collected and used by others, including people outside the reve Platform. We will not have any obligations with respect to any information that you post via the reve Platform and make available to others, and recommend that you use caution when giving out Personal Data to others through Social Networks.

    9. Security of Collected Information

    reve is committed to protecting the security of your Personal Data. We will take appropriate technical and organizational measures with due observance of the applicable obligations under relevant legislation to protect provided or otherwise collected Personal Data and traffic data. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorized or unlawful access, use or disclosure and accidental loss, destruction and damage. Even though reve has taken significant steps to protect your Personal Data, no company, including ours, can fully eliminate security risks associated with Personal Data.

    reve only uses qualified and respected 3rd-party providers for data exchange, aggregation, and storage, which are necessary to provide reve's Services.

    10. Access to, Rectifying and Deleting Your Personal Data

    You are entitled, once a year, to request information from reve about the Personal Data relating to you which is being processed by reve and to request, where relevant, that such Personal Data is rectified by sending a notice to reve at the following address:

    reve will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate a request to delete Personal Data, unless such data is required to be retained pursuant to applicable laws, or for lawful business purposes, or to protect and defend reve’s rights, property or interests, or to fight against fraud, or to enforce our policies (including this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service).

    You may also, at any time, ask us to discontinue processing your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes by notifying us at the address above that you would like us to stop sending you promotional communications.

    TERMS OF SERVICE

    1. General

    reve provides a platform through which users can search for products, recognize products, obtain product information and interact with them (for instance by sharing, commenting, rating, adding to a list, and buying amongst others) with a community through our website, accessible at reveapp.com (the "Site") and as an application (the "App") (collectively, the “reve Services”). For purposes of this agreement, the terms “you” and/or “your” refers to the person accessing our App and Site (the “reve Platform”) and using the reve Services or the company or organization on whose behalf a person accesses the reve Platform and uses reve Services.

    In this Agreement (as defined below), “reve”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Reve AB, a Swedish company with corporate identification number 5569333114, whose registered office is at Bastugatan 55, 11825 in Stockholm, Sweden.

    2. The Agreement

    A. By registering an account with reve (your ”reve Account”) and/or accessing the reve Platform from your mobile handset, your computer or other hardware (your “Device”), and/or by accepting to connect the reve Platform to your Facebook or other social media/network (“Social Network”) account, and/or by at any time clicking “I AGREE” or such other button, link or click-through that signifies your assent to these Terms of Service, you signify your irrevocable acceptance of and agreement to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy, which collectively form a legally binding agreement between you and reve (the “Agreement”). Your right to use the reve Platform and/or reve Services pursuant to the provisions of this Agreement will continue until you remove our software from your Device or terminate your reve Account, unless your usage is otherwise terminated by reve in accordance with this Agreement. We urge you to read all provisions of this Agreement carefully before accessing the reve Platform. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you may not download the software, access the reve Platform or otherwise use reve Services.

    B. By registering for a reve Account and accepting the terms of this Agreement, you confirm that you are:

    • At least 18 years of age, or
    • Between 13 and 17 years of age and using the reve Platform and reve Services with the permission and consent of your parents or legal guardian.

    C. We reserve the right to refuse to register a reve Account or to terminate a reve Account if these criteria are not met.

    D. Your use of the reve Platform or reve Services on or through a Device owned or controlled by a company, organization or other person indicates your authority to access the same for and on behalf of such company or organization or other person, and you hereby represent and warrant that you have such authority, and agree to be bound by the Agreement. Any such use will evidence the irrevocable acceptance of and agreement to this Agreement by you, as well as such company, organization or other person. Additionally, any use of the reve Platform or reve Services by a company, organization or other person that is undertaken on your behalf, either at your direct or indirect request, direction or authorization, will evidence the irrevocable acceptance of and agreement to this Agreement by you.

    3. The reve Platform and reve Services

    The reve Platform functions as a digital community for people to search and obtain product information from various third-party businesses (the “Merchants”) and to interact with such products by sharing, sending, rating, commenting, adding to a list, and buying amongst others functionalities. The reve Platform offers product inspiration and curated lists to users related to their demographics, Social Network profile, interests and behaviors. The reve Platform and reve Services are made available on our website located at www.reveapp.com and on our mobile application available for iOS and Android.

    A. Registering Your Account

    A.1 To be able to use reve Services you are required to register for a reve Account. You can register using a signup form by determining display name, email address, password, gender and date of birth. You can also register using your existing Social Network account. By registering with the signup form, you will still have access to the reve Platform though the functionality and reve’s product inspiration and curated lists available to you may be limited given our limited ability to obtain information about you. By allowing us to connect your Social Network account to the reve Platform, you will be able to access the full functionality and breadth of reve’s product inspiration and curated lists that we and other users make available from time to time. Each user, whether registered via signup form or a Social Network account, is referred to as a “User”. When registering for a reve Account, you agree to provide only accurate and complete information and to keep this information up-to-date.

    A.2 reve relies on the relevant log-in credentials (either your email address and password or your Social Network account log-in and password) to authorize you as a User of reve Services. You are solely responsible for any and all access to your reve Account and the reve Platform by persons using your log-in credentials. If someone other than yourself accesses your reve Account or the reve Platform by using your log-in credentials, we will rely on log-in credentials and you agree that such access to the reve Platform will constitute access made by you personally. If you become aware that your log-in credentials is being used without authorization, please notify us immediately by sending an email to support@reveapp.com.

    A.3 Individuals and entities whose privilege to use reve Services has previously been terminated by reve may not register for another reve Account, nor may you allow any of those individuals or entities to use your reve Account on your behalf. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you agree that your use of your email and/or Social Network’s website is governed by the email provider’s and/or Social Network’s terms of use and its privacy policy, including, without limitation, password and account security policies.

    A.4 By utilizing your Social Network credentials to log into the reve Platform or to use the reve Services, you expressly authorize reve to receive certain of your information that is available on or through your Social Network account, including, your profile information (including your profile photo), friends or follower names, privacy settings and certain other information that will be disclosed to you, and approved by you, during the log-in process. You also may authorize reve to generate and publish on your Social Network news feed and timeline (as applicable) actions you take on the reve Platform or while using the reve Services, and to allow you to interact with your Social Network friends on the reve Platform or while using the reve Services. You agree to allow each such Social Network to receive information concerning the actions you take on the reve Platform or your use of reve Services. In the event you no longer want the reve Platform or reve Services to publish your reve activity, or want to otherwise limit the ways in which the reve Platform or reve Services interact with your Social Network account, you can always disable aspects of this feature by changing your Social Network application settings.

    B. reve Services

    B.1 The reve Services provide you the opportunity to search for products, recognize products, obtain product information, share the product information provided by various Merchants, and eventually buy the third-party Merchants’ products. You must have an active reve Account in order to use reve Services.

    B.2 When a friend shares with you a product through the reve Platform, you will be notified via the electronic means chosen by your friend (via in-app feed, in-app messaging, email, social media, etc.). If a User attempts to share with you certain product information, but you have not yet registered for a reve Account, you will receive an email or Social Network notification prompting you to register for a reve Account. You must register for a reve Account in order to receive the reve product information.

    B.3 Keep in mind that reve Services can be accessed from several countries. Some products may be provided by Merchants only in certain geographical areas and jurisdictions. reve therefore reserves the right to exclude the provision of certain reve products to certain geographical areas and jurisdictions. reve does not warrant that any products or services displayed on the reve Platform will be available for reve Services by a particular person in a particular country.

    C. Merchant Responsibility

    The products displayed in the Platform are sold by third-party merchants, not by reve. The Services may contain links to third party Merchant that is selling the displayed products. reve is not responsible or liable for the availability or accuracy of such sites or resources, or for the content, products or services on or available from such sites or resources. reve does not have any responsibility for the quality of the products or services provided by Merchants, and reve expressly disclaims any and all liability for any direct or indirect damages, costs or other losses related to products or services provided by Merchants to you.

    D. Special Promotional Activities

    From time to time reve may offer special promotions, contests and/or sweepstakes intended to provide incentives to Users to use and engage with the reve Platform and reve Services. The applicable rules for such special promotional activities will be posted on the reve Platform in connection with the description of each promotion.

    4. Buying in the reve Platform

    The following terms govern the purchases you make through reve’s Platform checkout system. These are items you have attempted to purchase, and/or have purchased, within reve's Platform. This is different from purchases you may make on the websites of third-party Merchants that you were directed to via reve.

    Products

    The products displayed in the Platform are sold and the inventory is hold by third-party Merchants, not by reve. The Services may contain links to third-party Merchants that are selling the displayed products. reve does not have any responsibility for the quality of the products or services provided by Merchants, and reve expressly disclaims any and all liability for any direct or indirect damages, costs or other losses related to products or services provided or sold by Merchants to you. Merchants are thus responsible that each individual product conforms to the product description, as well as to each specific product terms, providing specific guarantees that the product meets all the safety, health and environmental requirements and that the product does not infringe any third party intellectual property rights (such as piracy) or in any way violates the applicable rules, standards and practices. reve is very keen not to display, market, promote or sale products that do not meet these requirements. reve therefore urges you to communicate us any suspicion on a product’s irregularity (even if there have not been any regrets or complains).

    For purchases made on third-party websites reve does not guarantee the accuracy of, and will not assume any liability for your purchase decisions (and your subsequent use of purchased products and services) that may be informed by the Platform.

    Purchase of products made through reve

    All purchases through reve's Platform checkout system and the Services are governed by this Agreement and the terms and conditions of the third-party Merchants from which you purchase from. reve allows you to place orders within reve’s Platform to purchase the products displayed in reve’s Platform.

    reve orders the products to the third-party Merchant on your behalf, and then generates a purchase order with the Merchant that delivers the product. By accepting this Agreement, you irrevocably authorize reve to process, finalize and effect your orders on your behalf with the relevant Merchant in accordance with the instructions given by you using the reve Platform. reve will inform you when an order is placed with a third-party Merchant, however, each third-party Merchant shall have 100% discretion whether an order will be accepted and/or deemed valid, and/or whether you can make any changes to an order once placed and accepted.

    reve does not accept purchase orders done by minors (under 18 years of age) without parental consent. As stated, reve is not responsible for the information on the Platform, which is derived from the third party Merchants. All pictures should be seen as illustrations, and can not be guaranteed to reproduce in the same exact appearance, nature or origin.

    Once your payment has been confirmed, your purchase order is processed with the correspondent Merchant. For now, if you want to buy products from different Merchants, you need to process a different purchase orders for each different Merchant, and in that case, the products will be sent to you in different shipments.

    You are responsible for all the information that you disclose to reve in connection with the purchase, such as delivery address details and contact information. reve or the third-party Merchants are not responsible for any problems (such as non-delivery or refunds) which can occur due to improper or inadequate information provided to reve. You must bear any additional costs that may arise in connection with the incorrect or incomplete information.

    reve will process your purchase orders with the Merchants within the following 24 hours (Monday through Friday) after your purchase order payment goes through. If, within the specified time above, you have not received any notice from reve, you should contact reve urgently to ensure that your purchase order have been processed accordingly.

    Cancellations

    Whether you can cancel an order once payment is made shall be governed 100% by the terms and conditions of each third-party Merchant.

    If cancellation is made according to the Merchants’ terms and conditions, reve will refund you the amount paid (less any reasonable costs or losses otherwise caused by the cancellation) no later than 14 calendar days after a written cancellation notice is received and in the event that reve has received the correspondent refund from the Merchant.

    Shipping and delivery

    reve will provide you with a confirmation email that your order is received and is being processed by the Merchant. Once your order has been processed with the third-party Merchant, reve will provide you a confirmation email that your order has been processed and accepted by the third-party Merchant. reve may provide you with an estimate of when your order will be shipped and/or delivered. Shipping and delivery are 100% within the discretion and control of each of the third-party Merchants. Any estimates reve may provide you with respect to shipping and/or delivery are simply estimates and based on the best information available to reve, however, you should not rely on these estimates in any way whatsoever. Please read the confirmation emails you receive from reve for additional information on how to contact the third-party Merchants for additional information on the status of your order, shipping and delivery. These emails also contain instructions on the best ways to contact reve to help with any questions about your order.

    reve is not responsible for the purchased product transportation risk (i.e. the risk that a product is damaged or lost during the transportation to you), but the Merchant that sends product. If the purchased product would be damaged during the shipment, you should contact the Merchant that shipped the product. You shall notify any damage both to reve and the Merchant as soon as the product is received. Visible damage must be reported immediately upon delivery, because such injuries typically covered by the shipping company's responsibility, where the deadline for complaints are usually very short. Therefore, you are responsible to unpack and inspect the condition of the product as soon as possible after reception. You may not use the damaged product and you must keep the product packaging so that it can be inspected by the manager of the claimed case.

    reve is not responsible for the delays in the purchased product delivery, but the Merchant that sends product. If a delivery is delayed you always have right to complain to the Merchant about your purchase in accordance with applicable consumer law . Complaints in connection to delivery delays must be made to the Merchant responsible to ship the product.

    In any case, you can contact reve and we will help you reaching out to the Merchant with issues relating to the transportation and delivery.

    Uncollected packages

    If you do not collect your package within the specified time and the product is returned to the Merchant by the shipping company, reve will charge you the correspondent penalization based on the penalizations that each third-party Merchant has set for uncollected items. reve will refund you the purchase amount minus the penalization fee that each third-party Merchant has for each unpicked item, no later than 14 days after reve is informed by the Merchant of the unpicked and returned package and in the event that reve has received the refund amounts from such Merchant.

    Returns

    Each third-party Merchant on reve has its own return policy and each order you make will be governed 100% by the terms and conditions of each third-party Merchant, including but not limited to, if returns are accepted and under what conditions, and whether you are responsible for additional shipping costs associated with any returns. You acknowledge and accept that reve has absolutely no involvement, and/or control over, whether you will be permitted to return any order, or portion thereof, and you agree to only look to the third-party Merchant from which you ordered regarding returns.

    In the event that you return a product from a third-party Merchant according to its terms and conditions, reve will pay you back the due purchase amount, no later than 14 days after reve has been informed by the Merchant of such return and in the event that reve has received the due amounts from such Merchant.

    To make use of the right of withdrawal with a third-party Merchant we recommend you to review each Merchant’s terms and conditions and to contact reve before returning a product (support@reveapp.com). By contacting reve we can support you with your returns and promptly pay you back as soon we can confirm the refund from the Merchant.

    Refunds

    Much like “Returns” discussed above, each third-party Merchant on reve has its own refund policy and each order you make will be governed 100% by the terms and conditions of each third-party Merchant, including but not limited to, if refunds are permitted and under what conditions, and whether you will be entitled to a full refund, partial refund, credit, or anything at all. You acknowledge and accept that reve has absolutely no involvement, and/or control over, whether you will be permitted any refund or credit for any order, or portion thereof, and you agree to only look to the third-party Merchants from which you ordered regarding refunds.

    In the event that you are granted a refund from a third-party Merchant, reve will refund you the due amounts, no later than 14 days after reve is informed by the Merchant of such refund and in the event that has received the refund amounts from such Merchant.

    If a product in reve which you placed a purchase order is discontinued or otherwise not available for purchase in the third-party Merchant, reve would refund your purchase immediately when we could not process your purchase order.

    Payments

    reve uses a third-party payment processor (the “Payment Processor”) to allow you to pay for products purchased through the Services. The processing of payments will be subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Processor in addition to this Agreement. reve is not responsible for errors by the Payment Processor. By choosing to purchase goods through the Services, you agree to pay through the Payment Processor, all charges at the prices then in effect for your purchase in accordance with the applicable payment terms and you authorize reve, via the applicable Payment Processor, to charge your chosen payment provider. Please be aware that items you are charged may include shipping fees and the applicable taxes. For each purchase, you grant reve the right to correct any errors or mistakes that are made regarding the purchase price of your order, even where reve has already received payment from you. You agree that (i) each order through the Services are purchases between you and the third-party Merchant, and not with reve; and (ii) reve is not a party to your payment transaction for such purchases and reve is not a buyer or a seller in connection with all such transactions.

    You must provide current, complete and accurate information for your processing of your payment. You must promptly update all information to keep your payment valid, complete and accurate (such as a change in billing address, credit card number or credit card expiration date), and you must promptly notify us if your form of payment is canceled (i.e. for loss or theft) or if you become aware of a potential breach of security, such as the unauthorized disclosure or use of your personal information.

    Information that reve collects and shares regarding purchases

    When you place an order, you can select to allow reve to collect and store your shipping address and billing address. Your payment information, such as credit card information, will then be maintained by the third-party payment processor, and not reve. In order to facilitate your order, reve must share some personal data from your order information with each third-party Merchant you order from using the Services. This does not include billing information which is never shared with any third-party Merchant. In some instances a third-party Merchant may request your email to help facilitate your purchase. When requested, we will provide your email to the third-party Merchant you have placed an order with. We encourage you to review each third-party Merchant’s terms and conditions and privacy policy to understand what each third-party brand does with this information once transmitted by reve.

    reve discretion and your recourse

    You agree that reve has the absolute discretion to cancel any order at any time for any reason. You agree that any dispute between you and reve, and/or you and any third-party Merchant, related to a purchase(s) made through the Services, can be resolved in its entirety by your receipt of a full refund for all amounts you were charged and paid.

    Fees and Payment

    Although our Services are currently free to users, reve reserves the right to require payment of fees for certain or all Services. You shall pay all applicable fees, as described on reve’s Website in connection with such Services selected by you. reve reserves the right to change its price list and to institute new charges at any time, upon notice to you, which may be sent by email or posted on the Website. Your use of the Services following such notification constitutes your acceptance of any new or increased charges. Any fees paid hereunder are non-refundable.

    6. Equipment

    You are solely responsible for the maintenance of your Device or any other equipment used to access the reve Platform and reve Services. You are also required to have the most recent version of the software for the reve Platform in order to use reve Services.

    7. Limited License and Conditional Use of reve Services

    A. reve grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-assignable license to access and use the reve Platform and reve Services for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.

    B. The limited license above grants you rights for personal, non-commercial use. This section further limits your rights. You should read it carefully.

    B.1 You acknowledge and agree that your personal, non-commercial use means, for the avoidance of doubt, using the reve Platform and/or reve Services solely for their intended purpose – which is to obtain (and/or provide to others) product information from the Merchants as more fully described above. You are not permitted to use the reve Platform and/or reve Services for any other purpose, including, without limitation, to (i) analyze, review or obtain information regarding the functionality, features, content, materials or individual elements of the reve Platform or reve Services, whether for commercial purposes or otherwise, (ii) develop any service, software or business that competes with, or is similar to, or that imitates, the reve Platform or reve Services, or any of the functionality, features, content, materials or individual elements thereof, (iii) copy or imitate the business model, look and feel, or other features, functionality, content, materials or individual elements of the reve Platform or reve Services, (iv) offer or explore the possibility of offering any service, software or business that solicits any of the vendors, Merchants, advertising partners, and customers of reve for commercial purposes, including, without limitation, for the purpose of soliciting such parties to engage in commercial activities with your service, software or business, or (v) obtain information regarding end users, advertisers or Merchants.

    B.2 If you violate any portion of Section 5.B.1 above, you acknowledge, agree and confirm that any software, service or business (and any and all revenue therefrom) created, designed or developed by you that is based on or is a derivative work of the reve Platform or reve Services, or any of the functionality, features, content, materials or individual elements thereof (collectively, a ”Commercial Work”), shall be held by you in constructive trust for the benefit of and on behalf of reve until such time that such Commercial Work can be duly assigned to reve. You expressly acknowledge and consent to such constructive trust, and expressly agree to, upon written notice from reve, execute and deliver any and all documents deemed reasonably necessary or appropriate by reve to evidence the due assignment to reve of any such Commercial Work.

    C. Additionally, you may not (i) remove any trademarks, copyright notices or any other notice contained in any content, materials or individual elements provided on or through the reve Platform or reve Services, (ii) except as expressly permitted in this Agreement, reproduce, download, modify, publish, distribute, transmit, disseminate, broadcast, transfer, license, sell, rent, lease, adapt, create derivative works of, publicly display or perform, or in any other way exploit the reve Platform or reve Services, or any features, functionality, content, materials or individual elements thereof, (iii) make any commercial use or any derivative use of any of the reve Platform or reve Services or any of the functionality, features, content, materials or individual elements thereof, or (iv) disassemble, decompile or reverse engineer the reve Platform or reve Services or any other materials made available on or through the reve Platform or reve Services or used to provide any of the reve Platform or reve Services.

    D. Your permission to access the reve Platform and use reve Services and to use the copyrights and trademarks of reve under the limited license described above is further conditioned upon your agreement that you:

    • Will comply with all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement;
    • Are solely responsible for your activities on the reve Platform and that you will respect other Users of reve Services in your interactions with them and that you will not submit any content or other materials on the reve Platform (including but not limited to chat postings, your Social Network profile information, links and pictures) that:
      • may be considered libelous, fraudulent, misleading, inaccurate, defamatory, pornographic, obscene, vulgar, indecent, abusive, harmful, hateful, threatening, harassing, bullying, tortuous, invasive of another’s privacy, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable or unlawful, including any communication that constitutes (or encourages conduct that would constitute) a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability or otherwise violates any local, state, national or international law, regulation or standard of conduct;
      • discloses private or personal matters concerning any person;
      • infringes or misappropriates any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights of any other person or entity;
      • constitutes any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation;
    • Will not use the reve Platform or reve Services to:
      • harm minors in any way;
      • impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
      • to collect any personally identifiable information, including account names, email addresses, or other such information, for any purpose;
      • intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, or any rule or regulation having the force of law;
      • provide material support or resources (or conceal or disguise the nature, location, source, or ownership of material support or resources) to any business, entity, or other organization competing or intending to compete or exploring the manner in which to compete with the reve Platform or reve Services or any of the functionality, features, content, materials or individual elements thereof;
      • provide material support or resources (or conceal or disguise the nature, location, source, or ownership of material support or resources) to any organization(s) designated by the United States government as a foreign terrorist organization; or
      • stalk, bully or otherwise harass another;
    • Will not misuse the reve Platform or reve Services by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful or designed to damage, interfere with, intercept, misappropriate, gain control over or limit the functionality of any computer, computer network, communications device, communications system, data or personal information;
    • Will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with or disrupt the reve Platform, the servers on which it is stored, hosted or operated, or any server, computer or database connected
    • to the reve Platform;
    • Will not attack the reve Platform via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack;
    • Will not attempt to harvest or collect any information about or regarding other Users, including, but not limited to any personal data or information;
    • Will not engage in web scraping, database scraping or any other activity for the purpose of obtaining content, data or other information from the reve Platform or reve Services;
    • Will not perform any meta-search or automated queries of the reve Platform or reve Services or of any of the content or other materials thereon;
    • Will grant to reve and other Users of reve Services the right and license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of and display the content and materials submitted by you on the reve Platform or reve Services;
    • Will not attempt to use multiple identities, reve Accounts or Social Network accounts, several credit cards or any other means in order to access several individual campaigns on the reve Platform; and
    • Will not in any other way try, or allow others, to circumvent the restrictions set forth in this Section 5 or elsewhere in this Agreement.

    E. reve reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to determine if your reve Account registration and your submission of content or other materials is made from a legitimate and valid Social Network account and/or email address if your conduct on the reve Platform complies with the provisions of this Agreement. reve reserves the right to suspend, block or terminate any reve Account that reve, in its sole discretion, considers to be used in violation of this Agreement, reve’s security policies or applicable laws. Any such action will be without limiting any of reve’s other rights and remedies.

    8. Non-Confidentiality, Security and Privacy

    A. You agree and acknowledge that the information that you submit to reve, such as your Social Network profile information and/or email address, is submitted for the purpose of making the reve Platform and reve Services available to you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose information that pertains to your privacy. By entering into this Agreement, you agree to the terms set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of this Agreement. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy available at privacy.

    B. In order to improve our service offering to you, we may use or disclose the communication between you and reve, such as emails and other correspondence. By entering into this Agreement you agree that such information is considered non-confidential and non-proprietary.

    C. We have the right, but not the obligation, in our sole discretion, to edit, refuse to post or remove any inappropriate content submitted on the reve Platform.

    D. Though we strive to enforce these rules with all of our Users you may, when using the reve Platform and reve Services, be exposed to content that violates our policies and which may be considered offensive. We may, but are not obligated, to terminate reve Accounts and/or remove content from the reve Platform if we determine or suspect that such accounts violate the terms of this Agreement or applicable laws. We take no responsibility for your exposure to content on the reve Platform whether it violates our content policies or not.

    9. Third-Party Websites

    The reve Platform links to websites and/or applications which are operated and owned by third parties. Such links do not constitute an endorsement by reve of those third-party websites. The content on these websites and/or applications is provided by the relevant third party and is not subject to the terms of this Agreement or our Privacy Policy. Therefore, we do not assume any responsibility for the content, policies or practices of such websites or third parties. By entering into this Agreement you relieve us from any and all liability arising from your use of any third-party websites and/or applications.

    10. Linking to the reve Platform

    You may link to the reve Platform, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage or take advantage of our reputation. You may not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. You may not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without prior notice.

    11. Accessing and downloading the app from Apple App Store

    The following applies to the App downloaded from the Apple App Store:

    A. You acknowledge and agree that (i) these Terms are concluded between you and reve only, and not Apple, and (ii) reve not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and content thereof. Your use of the App must comply with the App Store Terms of Service.

    B. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.

    C. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law if the App wouldn’t be free; Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. As between reve and Apple, any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be the sole responsibility of reve.

    D. You and reve acknowledge that, as between reve and Apple, Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims you have or any claims of any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of the App, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

    E. You and reve, acknowledge that, in the event of any third party claim that the App or your possession and use of that App infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, as between reve and Apple, reve, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim to the extent required by these Terms.

    F. You and reve acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of these Terms as related to your license of the App, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms as related to your license of the App against you as a third party beneficiary thereof.

    G. Without limiting any other terms of these Terms, you must comply with all applicable third party terms of agreement when using the App.

    12. No Warranties and Limitation of Liability

    This section limits our warranties, obligations and liability to you. You should read it carefully.

    A. We provide access to the reve Platform and reve Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. reve gives no express, implied or statutory warranty as to the content, quality, availability, function or fitness for a specific purpose of the reve Platform and reve Services or non-infringement of third-party rights with respect to the reve Platform and reve Services. Neither does reve warrant the content or quality of any third-party website and/or application to which the reve Platform links or the products or services provided by a third party through its website and/or application. Furthermore, we may not be held liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your Device, programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of the reve Platform.

    B. Commentary and other materials posted on the reve Platform are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed. We therefore disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by any users of the reve Platform, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.

    C. Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dispute with us is to discontinue your use of the reve Platform and reve Services. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither reve nor any of its affiliates accept any liability for direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, exemplary, consequential or other damages or losses of any kind arising from or relating to your access to the reve Platform or your use or inability to use reve Services, regardless of the legal theory on which any such damages may be based and whether or not reve or its affiliates have been advised of the possibility of any such damages. reve’s and its affiliates’ aggregate liability under this Agreement shall be limited to SEK 1000.

    13. Indemnity

    This section obligates you to indemnify and protect us for activities caused by you. You should read it carefully.

    You agree to indemnify and hold reve, and its affiliates, successors, assigns, officers, directors and employees, and their respective affiliates, successors, assigns, officers, directors and employees, harmless, to the extent permitted by mandatory law, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) arising from or relating to (i) your access, use or misuse of any of the reve Platform or reve Services, (ii) your breach or alleged breach of this Agreement, or (iii) any violation by you of any applicable laws or of any rights of others, including, without limitation, your violation, misappropriation or infringement (or any allegation thereof) of any third party right, or any right of reve, including, without limitation, any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, property, privacy or other intellectual property or proprietary right.

    14. Intellectual Property

    A. You acknowledge and agree that reve and our licensors retain all right, title, ownership and interest in and to the reve Platform and reve Services, including, without limitation, all data, information (excluding data and information that you provide), content and materials provided on or through the reve Platform and reve Services (including, without limitation, text, software, images, photographs, videos, graphics, scripts, page headers, sounds, interactive features, the selection and arrangement of elements displayed on or through the reve Platform and reve Services, the compilation of all content and materials on the reve Platform and reve Services, and the business process, procedures, methods and techniques used in or in connection with the reve Platform and reve Services) and all associated patent rights, copyright rights, trademark rights, trade secret rights and other intellectual property and proprietary rights recognized anywhere in the world. All use of those rights, including those intellectual property rights, is forbidden, except for the limited right to use the reve Platform and reve Services in accordance with this Agreement.

    B. reve and the reve logos are the trademarks of Reve AB, and all other proprietary trademarks, service marks, trade names, slogans, logos, and other indicia of origin that appear on or in connection with the reve Platform or reve Services are the property of Reve AB. reve’s intellectual property, including, without limitation, its trademarks and trade dress, may not be used in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among Users, or in any manner that disparages reve. All rights are expressly reserved.

    C. The reve Platform and reve Services are patent pending.

    D. All third party trademarks, logos, photographs, images, and other intellectual property contained on or through the reve Platform or reve Services are the property of the respective third parties, including the respective Merchants, and may be protected by applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws and treaties. Each such third party expressly reserves all rights into such intellectual property. Use of third party software or services is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable third party license agreements, and you agree to look solely to the applicable third party and not to reve to enforce any of your rights in relation thereto.

    E. You are solely responsible for the content you submit on the reve Platform and you agree that you have the required intellectual property rights for such content. However, reve reserves the right to remove any content you submit that reve may suspect constitutes an infringement of any such intellectual property right.

    F. When you submit content on the reve Platform or send email or other information to reve, you grant reve a non-exclusive, sub-licensable, transferable, assignable, irrevocable, perpetual, fully paid, worldwide license to use, copy, display, modify, make derivative works of or otherwise dispose of or exploit in any form or medium any such content and information for any purpose.

    G. We respect the intellectual property of others, and we ask you to do the same. If you are a copyright owner or an owner’s agent and find content or materials that infringe upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification. To do so, please provide our us with the following information in writing: (1) A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed; (2) Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site; (3) Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled and information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to locate the material; (4) Information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail; (5) A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (6) A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

    15. Electronic Communications

    The communications between you and reve are done by the use of electronic means, whether you visit the website, access the reve Platform or send us email, or whether reve posts notices on its website or communicates with you via email. For contractual purposes, you (i) consent to receive communications from reve in electronic form, and (ii) agree that all terms and conditions, agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that reve provides to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications would satisfy if they were in writing.

    16. Changes to the Agreement

    reve may, from time to time and at its own discretion, change the terms of this Agreement. Any such change becomes effective when posted on reve’s website. It is your sole responsibility to check for changes and your continued use of reve Services will constitute your acceptance of such changes. Should you not agree to a change of this Agreement, you must cease to access the reve Platform and cease to use reve Services.

    17. Term and Termination

    A. This Agreement will become effective between you and reve from the moment you agree to allow the reve Platform to connect to your Social Network account or by creating a reve account. Should you be dissatisfied with reve Services or the content on the reve Platform, or should you for any other reason want to terminate your reve Account, you are entitled to do so without prior notice by removing the software from your Device or terminating your reve Account. The termination of your reve Account will have immediate effect, however, the provisions of Sections 1, 2, 5.B, 5.C, 5.D, 5.E, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19 and 19 will survive any such termination.

    B. reve reserves the right to change or discontinue the reve Platform or any of the reve Services at any time without prior notice. reve also reserves the right to terminate your reve Account at its election and for any reason, without prior notice, and/or to terminate or suspend your reve Account at any time and with immediate effect, if your use of reve Services is in violation of the terms of this Agreement, reve’s security policies or any applicable laws.

    19. Entire Agreement

    This Agreement, including our Privacy Policy (available at privacy), and together with any other legal notices and terms published by reve on the reve Platform, constitutes the entire Agreement between you and reve. For your convenience, reve may provide you with a translation of the Swedish language version of this Agreement. In the event of any inconsistency between a non-English version of this Agreement and the English version, the English version will govern your relationship with reve.

    20. Severability

    If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be too broad to be enforceable, that provision shall be narrowed to the extent necessary to make it enforceable and then enforced to the maximum extent permissible by law. If any provision of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable and cannot be saved by narrowing construction, or otherwise revised to be valid and/or enforceable while still keeping the meaning and intent of the given provision and this Agreement as a whole, then such invalid or unenforceable provision shall be severed from this Agreement and shall not in any manner affect or render invalid or unenforceable the remaining provisions of this Agreement, all of which shall remain in full force and effect.

    21. Governing Law and Disputes

    This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swedish law without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disagreement in respect of this Agreement shall be finally settled by the Public Courts of Sweden.     What is reve?

    reve is product recognition platform that connects you with the things you love. reve helps you identify products, get relevant product information and interact with them. You can then share, comment, rate and even buy those products.

    All the product interactions you have have with the the app (except for the product recognition) are also accessible on the web at www.reveapp.com.

    How does reve recognize the products I love?

    reve will scan the barcode of the product you are interested in, identify it and and immediately provide you with relevant product information. To scan the barcode you need to open reve's app and then point your phone camera to the barcode.

    You can then share this product information, make a comment, like, add it to your profile or even buy it later. And, why not? It can be the source of inspiration of your friends and followers.

    What is a scan?

    Scans are like little bookmarks. They show your interest on a product. Every time you scan a barcode you are adding it to reve and storing it. This way you you can access them whenever you need it and it will always link back to the retailer it came from.

    You can even make a scan private and just keep it for yourself or share it publicly.

    And, why would I scan a barcode?

    • Explore the product: check sizes, colors, description, materials and more.
    • Rate it: you can like your and your friends scans and see who liked what.
    • Share it: you can share every product you scan with just one person, your followers, or with many via social media.

    See all your scans on your profile

    Your profile stores all your scans regardless if they were private or public. This way you can always go back and keep track on the things you’ve liked. Your profile is also accessible on the web via www.reveapp.com and there you can even buy the products listed in your profile.

    See fresh scans in your home feed

    Your home feed is where you’ll find all sorts of new and inspiring things that your friends and people that you are following are scanning and reving. You can then learn more about those scans, reve them, and add them to your own profile if you like them.

    Creating an account and username

    How can I sign up and create an account?

    Once the app is installed on your phone device, tap the reve logotype to open it.

    • Tap Get Started
    • Sign up with Facebook or create a username and password and fill out your profile info (ex: display name,age, gender, etc.)
    • Accept the ToS
    • Tap Sign Up and you are done!
    What can I do if a display name is already claimed but seems inactive?

    If a display name you would like is being used by an account that seems inactive, you should consider selecting an available version for your use on reve. We suggest adding numbers, underscores, or abbreviations in order to help you come up with a great available display name.

    If the display name you would like is not currently associated with any account (it is available for registration), and you would like to change your current display name on your account, you can find out how to edit your profile below.

    What's reve's inactive display name policy?

    We encourage users to actively log in and use reve once they create an account. To keep your account active, be sure to log in and share scans, as well as like and comment on scans. Accounts may be permanently removed due to prolonged inactivity, so please use your account once you sign up!

    How do I update my profile information (ex: name, email, phone number)?

    To update your profile information:

    • Go to your profile by tapping the profile tab
    • Tap "Setting" icon
    • Tap “Edit Your Profile”
    • Type in your new name, email, phone number, website or bio
    • Tap "Save"

    You can also update your information from your web profile at www.reveapp.com.

    How do I add a profile picture or change my current picture?

    To change your profile picture:

    • Go to your profile by tapping the profile tab in the lower-right corner
    • Tap your profile picture (if you don't have a profile picture, tap the outline of the user icon)
    • Select where you'd like to take a picture or import your picture from your library (ex: your phone, Twitter, Facebook)

    Currently it's only possible to add or change a profile picture from the app, and not on the Web.

    How do I set my profile to private so that only approved followers can see it?

    By default, anyone can view your profile on reve. To make your profile private so it can only be seen by approved followers:

    • Go to your profile by tapping your profile tab
    • Tap de "Settings" icon
    • Scroll down to “Private Profile” and toggle the switch to On

    Once you make your profile private, anyone who wants to see your scans, followers and following and likes lists, will have to send you a follow request that will appear in your activities feed in the News tab, which you can then approve or ignore. You can choose to send a scan directly to someone even if they’re not following you.

    How do I change my password?

    If you're logged out of your account and can't remember your password, learn how to get help here.If you know your current password, you can change it by going to your profile:

    • Go to your profile by tapping the profile tab in the lower-right corner of the app
    • Tap the "Settings" icon
    • Tap “Edit Your Profile”
    • Tap Change Password
    • Enter your old password followed by your new password and confirm it
    • Tap "Change"

    Tip: To create a strong password, use a combination of at least six numbers, letters and punctuation marks (like ! and %).

    You can also change your password from the web at www.reveapp.com.

    How do I delete my account?

    For security reasons, reve has to delete your account manually for now. Send us an email to support@reveapp.com with the subject “Delete Account” and we will process your request.

    When you delete your account, your scans, comments, likes, and friendships will be removed permanently and will not be recoverable. We cannot reactivate accounts. Additionally, you will not be able to sign up with the same username again.

    How do I recover my password?

    If you can't remember your password, tap “Forgot Password” on the login screen (either in the app or in the Web). You'll then have the option to reset your password via email.

    How to generete a password reset email:

    • Tap “Forgot your password?” in the log In screen
    • Tap Email and type the email address you used to create your account
    • Tap Reset
    • reve will create a new password and send it to you to the email address you used to create your account

    Unfortunately, if you can't access the email account you registered with and if you connected your reve account to Facebook, we are unable to release a new account password to you.

    Where are my account settings?

    You can get to your account settings by going to your profile and tapping in the upper-right corner. From your settings, you can:

    • Find and invite friends
    • Edit your profile
    • Follow retailers
    • Select categories
    • Set your profile as private
    • Enable push notifications
    • Log out of your account
    • Access support tools

    Using the app

    Log in Screen

    The Log in screen helps you to sign into an existing account with your username and password or via Facebook. In case you don’t have an account, you can also sign up for a new account by tapping “Sign Up”. You can also recover your password if you're having trouble logging in by tapping in “Forgot your password?”

    Web profiles

    You can access your account on the web by going to www.reveapp.com and logging in with your reve username and password or via Facebook. Learn more about web profiles here.

    Profile tab

    Your profile is the hub for all of your content and settings on reve.The profile tab shows your bio and reve’s scans. Here, you can view all of the scans you've taken, the people you are following and who is following you, and browse through the scans you’ve liked. It's also where you can edit your profile information, and adjust your account settings.

    Scan tab

    The scan tab allows you to scan and recognize products with your phone’s camera. When you open the app, by default, the scan tab will be triggered. If not, tap at the bottom of the app to start scanning and recognizing products! Point your phone’s camera to the product price tag you want to recognize. If the product belongs toyou are in a supported retailer, reve will recognize the product and provide you all the relevant information.

    Please note there are a few common reasons why reve might not return results for a product:

    • Network issues – It is possible that your phone is not connected to the Internet (either via Wi-Fi or 3G/4G). Please check your phone settings and make sure you are connected to a network.
    • The retailer is not supported or the product is not indexed in reve’s database. In that case, reve will display you a no-match message. Please check the list supported retailer’s here. We have a database of thousands of products, but there are still some gaps for certain retailers’ products. If you can recognize a product with reve, let the retailer know that you want them on reve!
    • Scanning issues - It is possible that the environment for the scanning is not ideal (bad lighting, contrast, phone’s autofocus, etc.). Also it is possible that you are trying to do the scan from too long distance. If that is the case, focus the camera to the price tag from a distance of around 10cm and make sure there are no shadows over the price tag. It should work!

    Once you get the product information, you can then decide to make that scan private and keep it for yourself or share privately. If not, by default the scan will be visible to your friends and followers in your home feed. Regardless if you make the scan private, it will be added to your feed and your profile, so you can easily access that product at anytime (private scans have a little lock icon on top of them).

    Explore tab

    Use the explore tab to get inspired with new products, search for the products, filter products by category, retailers, brands, price and items on sale. The explore tab is a great tool to understand what is happening in the world around you.

    Type what you are looking for in the search bar (ie green jacket), and reve will display you the products which match that keyword so you can browse amongst the different green jackets we have indexed in our database.

    Currently the explore tab streams an endless feed of products indexed in reve. You can access those products and if you like them you can add them to your feed and profile by tapping into “reve it”. Like an scan but without actually having to scan a product.

    Home feed tab

    The home feed tab shows a feed of scans posted by you and your friends. You can like and comment on scans in this feed and also learn more about the product and interact with it by tapping on it.

    Tap the status bar at the top of your screen (where the time and battery level are displayed), or double tap the home feed tab, to automatically scroll to the top of the feed.

    News tab

    The news tab shows an activity feed that displays likes and comments on your own scans, comments in where you have been tagged, the people that started following you and friend requests.

    Remember that if your account is set to private, only those users whom you've approved to follow you will see your activity.

    We currently send push notifications when:

    • Someone likes or comments on one of your scans
    • Someone @ mentions you in a comment
    • Someone starts following you or requests to follow you
    • Someone accepts your following request

    You can adjust your push notifications by email from your account settings:

    • Go to your profile tap in the upper-right corner
    • Tap on the Settings icon
    • Tap on Push Notifications (Pink is on and no color is off)

    Note: If you want to turn push notifications for reve on or off, exit reve and tap the Settings icon on your iPhone and tap Notifications > reve. Turn the Notification Center switch ON.

    How do I find people to follow?

    We can help you find your Facebook friends and phone contacts already on reve:

    • Go to your profile tab
    • Tap Following or Followers or tap the Settings icon
    • Tap Find & Invite Friends
    • Choose whether you want to find friends from Facebook, from or your contact list or just search for users
    • Tap Follow next to people whose photos you want to see in your stream

    You can also tap the explore tab at the bottom of your app to see some of the most interesting recent scans from around the reve community. Use the category filters or the search bar at the top of the explore tab to find products, brands, and friends, or search through reve’s tags to find users sharing scans you're interested in.

    For example, if you are interested in shoes, you may want to connect with other shoe lovers by searching for the tag "shoes" and browsing the shoe’s scans users have shared.

    Buying with reve app

    How do I shop on reve? (Sweden-only)

    If you'd like to purchase a product you find on reve, just click the "Buy" button located on the left hand side of each product view. Items can be bought on reve just like you would buy using any other retailer’s website.

    When you click through on an item you want to buy, you will enter a checkout process. The first time you buy you will be prompted to provide your shipping and billing details and payment method. For recurring purchases, you can select to save that information with our payment processor for a smooth and quicker checkout. If you click continue to confirm the order you will proceed to the payment. Once the payment has been processed, you you receive a purchase order confirmation to the email address you specified.

    reve will then process your order with the retailer, which in turn will provide you an order confirmation with their tracking code and ship the product to you.

    How many products can I buy?

    reve does not hold the products on sale in reve. Your order is always sent from each retailer's inventory. For now you can only buy single items from each retailer. However, we are working to enable multiple purchases from the same retailer and eventually support ordering products from different retailers. Stay tuned!

    Do prices in reve include tax and shipping?

    All products prices on reve always include VAT or the applicable sales taxes. The shipping cost which depends on each retailer is a separate fee. An estimate of the shipping cost is always shown during the checkout process and added automatically to the total amount prior confirmation of the purchase order.

    Why am I seeing prices in unusual currencies?

    We try to show you all prices in the currency of the country you are in. However, some retailers that are available in your country might not support the local currency. Thus, those items are shown in the currency/-ies offered by the such retailer.

    How are my details protected?

    If you purchase an item you can save some of your payment details for a faster checkout in the future. Your payment information, such as credit card information, will then be maintained and securely retailers by reve’s third-party payment processor, and not by reve.

    If you change your password, all your payment details are automatically deleted and you will need to fill in your payment details again during your next purchase. We will also notify you via email.

    What payment methods can I use?

    Our payment processor accepts almost any kind of debit and credit cards. Here is the full list currently accepted:

    Is it safe to order in reve?

    Your security is important to us. reve uses the industry standard protocol known as Transport Layer Security (TLS), which encrypts potentially sensitive information for all data transmission.

    Payment can be made by any card accepted by our payment processor. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

    We take reasonable care to make our site secure. All credit/debit card transactions on are processed by our payment processor using secure systems. These details will be fully encrypted and only used to process card transactions which you have initiated. To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple, and secure, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

    Furthermore, we take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.

    What to do if my order is unsuccessful?

    Payment for your order is declined

    If your payment has been declined, then you will need to place your order with us again as the order has been cancelled automatically. No payment will be taken for unsuccessful orders. To help ensure your order is not declined in future, we suggest checking the following:

    • Check your card details on your reve account are correct, including card expiry date, billing address and personal details.
    • Make sure the three-digit security code on the back of your card has been entered correctly
    • Your card issuer may have declined your payment, please check with your card issuer for further support.

    Technical Error

    As a technology company with thousands of products on our website, we can on occasion have glitches. Any order affected by technical errors will be automatically cancelled and no payment taken. For further assistance and for any help in placing your order again, please contact support@reveapp.com for further assistance.

    What to do if my order is out of stock?

    We strive to display the most accurate and up to date details about each item on reve, including stock, color and size availability. Unfortunately, we do not currently have the facility to advise on when an item will be back in stock. Please be aware that in some cases stock may not become available again for all products that you have reved, this particularly applies for must-have items from previous collections. Stock cannot be reserved with the “reve it” button.

    If you have processed a purchase order with reve and the item you purchased suddenly went out of of stock, we will issue a refund immediately.

    How do I amend my order?

    Amendments are not always possible once the order has been submitted. However, you can notify the retailer 's customer care team directly who will adjust those changes when possible or cancel your order upon your request. Please make sure you quote their order reference number as displayed on the retailer's confirmation email as well as your full name and billing address.

    How long will it take to receive my order?

    reve is not responsible to ship your order. Delivery times vary by retailer and seasonality. As you go through the checkout process or items that can be purchased on reve, we will display the estimated delivery time for your purchase.

    I have a problem with my order, who can I contact?

    The reve team are here to help with any orders you have placed on reve, just drop us a line at support@reveapp.com and we will try to support you. However, we encourage you to to go directly to the retailer that you purchased the product from as they are responsibles for your order.

    What shipping options are available?

    Shipping options vary by retailer and shipping destination. For items you can purchase on reve, we will display an estimated shipping cost at the beginning of the checkout process. As you go continue through checkout we will display the standard shipping option offered by the retailer to your selected destination.

    Why can't I ship somewhere outside Sweden?

    Shopping on reve is currently limited to shipping within Sweden. However, we’re hoping to bring this service to the rest of the world soon, so watch this space!

    Using reve on the web

    What is reve on the web?

    reve provides you a web access to your profile. The profile information is totally synchronized with the app profile info, so at anytime you can see all your scans, the people you follow, your followers and the products you’ve liked.

    Basically, reve’s web version allows you for the same features as the app except the possibility of scanning a product. Thus, you can review your scans, see all the product information, check your friend scans and like and comment on the posts within your network. The biggest advantage of the reve on the web is that you can click-to-buy the products you like.

    You can access your account on the web by going to www.reveapp.com and logging in with your reve username and password or via Facebook. You can also view your profile by going to reveapp.com/[username].

    Can I sign up for a reve account on the web?

    Unfortunately, you can not sign up for a reve account on the web. If you access www.reveapp.com and you want to create a reve account you will be promted to download reve’s app in your mobile and create an account in the application.

    How do I view scans using reve on the web?

    Scans posted by you appear in profile under the tab “Scans”. The scans will be ordered from the most recent to the first scan you took. You can scroll down to browse through them. If you click on a scan, you will be able to access all the product information and if you want click-to-buy that product.

    Under the tab “Following” you will see a list of the people you follow in an alphabetical order. Each person you follow will appear in a widget that includes their avatar and the last 4 scans they’ve taken. If you click on that widget you will access their profile. You can also go directly to a profile by visiting reveapp.com/[username]. You can also stop following the people that you follow, but clicking the "Following" button in the widget.

    Under the tab “Followers” you will see a list of the people that follow you in alphabetical order. Each person that follows you will appear in a widget that includes their avatar and the last 4 scans they’ve taken. If you also follow your followers, if you click on that widget you will access their profile. You can also go directly to a profile by visiting reveapp.com/[username]. You can follow back the people that follows you, by clicking the "Follow" button in the widget.

    Under the tab “Likes” you will see a the list of all the products you’ve liked ordered from the most recent like to the first one. This way you can keep track on all the things that inspire you. You can scroll down to browse through them. If you click on a scan, you will be able to access all the product information and if you want click-to-buy that product.

    Can I buy the products I like using reve on the web?

    Yes! However, you won’t buy them in reve, but in each retailer specific webshop. If you click on a scan which product you’d like to buy, you can click on the buy button and reve will automatically redirect you to the retailer’s webshop page with that specific item so you don’t have to search for it. This way you can buy the stuff you love in a couple of clicks.

    We are working hard to improve our offering so you can buy within reve in a hassle-free way and with just very few clicks. Stay tuned!

    What are the Explore and Search functions on the web?

    They are the same as the functions in the app. Use the explore tab to get inspired with new products, find new and interesting people to follow, filter products by category, explore hashtags and much more. Please note that only scans of users with an open profile will make it to the explore tab.

    If you click on the search button, a search bar will appear. You can type any product name, product characteristic, brand, username, etc. and the system will provide you with relevant search results based on scans of users with an open profile.

    How do I edit my profile using reve on the web?

    Click your display name in the upper-left corner bar and select “Your Account” to edit your public bio (your name, display name, birthday, gender, phone number bioagraphy and website). You'll need to go to the reve app on your mobile device to edit your profile picture.

    Some profile information is not visible to anyone but you. This includes your email address and phone number.

    How do I change my password using reve on the web?

    Click your username in the upper-left corner top bar and select Settings, then Change password option. You will be prompted to type your current (old) password, type the new one and re-type it for confirmation purposes. In a matter of minutes, you will receive an email confirming your password was changed successfully.

    If you are in a shop and you get a no-match message after scanning a product, it might be that the retailer is not supported or the product is not indexed in reve’s database. We have a database of thousands of products, but there are still some gaps for certain retailers’ products. If you can recognize a product with reve in a supported retailer, let the retailer know that you want them on reve!

    The detailed Community Guidelines below have been created in order to help you understand the best practices as a member of the reve community. By utilizing reve you are also subject to our Terms of Service.

    What to do:

    • Do share products that you’ve scanned.

      reve is a great way to share your life through the products you like. We encourage you to post and share all the genuine products you like and that you’ve scanned. And if you want to express your excitement over a beautiful product that someone else scanned, it’s best to double tap on the post to like it!

    • Do share products that are safe for people of all ages.

      Remember that our community is a diverse one, and that your posts are visible to people as young as 13 years old.

    • Do treat others as you would like to be treated.

      People with different backgrounds come together to share moments on reve, which is great, but it also means that not everyone will agree with what you think or believe. We ask that all users be polite and respectful in their interactions with other members.

    • Do have meaningful & genuine interactions.

      Self-promotion or commercial solicitation of any kind, in any form, is rarely well-received. Users often notice when you have posted the same comment elsewhere or have followed a large number of users to gain followers in return, so please be sincere with your exchanges on reve.

    • Do have fun!

      reve is the best way to quickly share beautiful products with others, and see the world through others’ eyes.

    What not to do:

    It is important to note that overstepping the boundaries outlined below may result in a disabled account, or discontinued access to reve, without warning.

    • Don’t spam.

      reve is a place where people can share beautiful products they see, and when you engage in self-promotional behavior of any kind on reve it makes users who have shared that product with you feel sad inside. This guideline includes repetitive comments, as well as service manipulation in order to self-promote, and extends to commercial spam comments, such as discount codes or URLs to websites. We ask that you keep your interactions on reve meaningful and genuine.

    • Don’t be rude.

      reve is a friendly place where everyone should feel safe and comfortable sharing their lives through products. It is not an appropriate place to abuse, attack, harass, or impersonate others. If we receive valid complaints about your conduct, we’ll send a warning or disable your account. Alternatively, we’d recommend users block all meanies & trolls to prevent further issues.

    • Don't promote or glorify self-harm.

      While reve is a place where people can share their lives with others through products, any account found encouraging or urging users to embrace anorexia, bulimia, or other eating disorders; or to cut, harm themselves, or commit suicide will result in a disabled account without warning. We believe that communication regarding these behaviors in order to create awareness, come together for support and to facilitate recovery is important, but that reve is not the place for active promotion or glorification of self-harm.

    And an additional thing to remember:

    reve is a diverse community, and it is likely that you will come across things that offend you. If you are offended by a post that may not violate any of the above guidelines, we’d suggest you navigate away from the account. If you think that there is immediate cause for concern, you can send a report to the reve team by emailing us to support@reveapp.com. Please provide all necessary information for us to quickly respond to an issue that urgently needs our attention, this includes post description & dates, URLs, and valid usernames.

    If you believe you will have trouble following these guidelines we’d suggest you cancel your reve account, as reve may not be the best place for you. We value these guidelines, and believe that they will help keep reve a safe & fun place for everyone.

    Josep M. Nolla (Cofounder & CEO)

    @josep has +12 years of experience within the Internet, Media and Telecom industry, with deep expertise in digital strategy and business development in new ventures and new business areas. Josep is a visionary with hands-on into the products. He has a solid track record of conceptualizing and launching a bunch of innovative services across the world.

    Prior cofounding reve, Josep has combined the development new revenue streams for large entities (such Telenor Group, Metro International, Tele2 and Google, amongst others) with his own entrepreneurial activities.

    Now Josep is focused in putting all the bits and pieces together to make reve an awesome service, while he still keeps boiling ideas on how to make it even greater. He is so passionate about it, that having a business background, he has even started coding on his free time. Just do it!

    Andreas Wålm (Cofounder & CTO)

    @andreas is a serial entrepreneur and a software developer who is always on the edge of today’s newest technologies.

    Andreas has +18 years of experience working as developer, system integrator and technical advisor and prior to reve, he has founded and co-founded several start-ups.

    Andreas lives up to Albert Einstein’s quote: “Make things as simple as possible, but not simpler”.

    So, if reve has a problem, we are in good hands. Andreas will find a solution.

    Xavi Gratal (Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence)

    @xavi is an academic researcher and scientist in the fields of computer vision, artificial intelligence and machine learning. He is the brain of all brains.

    Xavi is currently combining his PhD studies in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence at KTH (Stockholm), with the development of reve’s core functionalities. He also studied Computer Science and Telecommunications at KTH and Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (Barcelona).

    Marc Coll (Frontend Developer)

    @marc is an experienced software programmer and frontend developer who masters the art of html, css, javascript, jquery, angularjs, php and rails amongst other programing languages.

    Marc is reve’s international star and commands the Barcelona office. In the past, Marc has been involved in several startups development and growth projects, and now shares his wisdom with reve.

    reve connects you directly with customers, whether they're looking for your products on search or scanning them in-store. Do you want to increase your sales, customer satisfaction, brand visibility and customer engagement?

    Show up across reve - Give customers the right product info - Build long lasting relationships

    Don't want to be in reve: You can opt out of having content that reve has crawled from your site and its displayed on reve properties. If you choose the opt-out option, content from your site that has crawled by reve will not be displayed on any of reve’s properties. To do so, an authorized representative from your company should contact us and request to opt-out. Content currently being displayed on reve properties will be removed within 30 days of opting out.
